  The procedure for degrade

The Archpriest Church Court of the Macedonian Orthodox Church has started the procedure for degrade. The procedure of degrade is for the ten bishops from the Serbian Church, who were participating in the work of the “archpriest court”, last month. The “archpriest court” is part of the unregistered parallel church in Macedonia. The first accused on the list is the Coastal - Montenegrin Metropolitan Amfilohie, who was presiding in that court, but also “in companionship” with Irinej Backi, Pahomie from Vranje, Ignjatie from Brana, the bishop Hrizostom from Zica, Artemie from the Rasko-Prizrerian region, Vasilie from Srem…
 
     
  Trnovo - without governmental representatives

Several thousand Macedonian from the state, from the neighboring countries and from the Diaspora, were gather in Trnovo, on the 24 meeting of the Macedonians from the Aegean part of Macedonia. On this manifestation, there weren’t any representatives from the Government.
 
     
  Approved dollars for the flood damages

The estimations for the flood damages from last month’s are still counting, but their partial damages will be cover with approved funds of 150.000 dollars from the Program for development of UN. This document was signed as an answer to natural disasters- floods from the southeast and northwest part of Macedonia, by the Minister without sphere of activity, Vlado Popovski and the representative of UNDP, Frode Mauring.
 
     
  Five minutes for each unemployed

In the Bureau for employment all the employees are working hard, but still there is crowd of people for registering, because only in Skopje unemployed are 93.000 people. The director of the Bureau, Pavle Boskovski, said that this situation will change when the new system with exact schedule starts. “From August 10, every unemployed will come in exact day, hour and minute and everyone will have five minutes to be served. With this kind of work the crowd will be reduced”- said the director Boskovski.
 
     
  The petroleum is more expensive

The prices of petroleum derivates in the retail trade, in average are higher for 3,18 %. According to an explanation of the Regulatory Commission for energetic, the new prices are the result from movement of the prices for the crude oil on the world market. In the past 14 days the price of the crude oil was 38,519 per barrel and this price is for 9,3 % higher than the average price for crude oil ( 35,252 dollars per barrel), by this price were made heritages prices of petroleum derivates.
 
     
  Macedonian wines on the world market

Macedonian wine producers from our country, satisfied with their organizing in clusters, are expecting to start conquering new markets with help of the American experts. The leaders of the cluster are explaining that crucial moment for our wine producers was to become aware that the hygiene of wine cellars and proper care of the wine are most important factors for producing good and quality product that will be easy to sell on the foreign markets. In this moment 11 markets are researched for disposal of our wines and three of them are choused for most appropriate. There are chances for the next year that Macedonian wines will be disposed on the English, Russian and Holland market.
 
     
  Medical checkup control for disability

In the future, the implementation of the right for disability pension will comes under compulsory medical checkup control for confirming of the disability. On this base it will be realize the right for permanent disability pension. This is essence in the changes and the supplements of the Law for pension and disability insurance, which were elected by the numerous votes of the present parliamentarians in the Parliament. The goal of these new items is better efficiency of the system for pension insurance trough higher objectivity in the procedure for estimation of the work ability.
 
     
  Increasing of the trade deficit

The Institute for statistic has announced that the export participate with 35,4 % and the import participate with 64,6 % in the total foreign-trade exchange. Increasing of the trade deficit in the foreign trade exchange is intending to be more than one milliard dollars until the end of this year. That will be the record deficit in the foreign-trade exchange in Macedonia. The experts of economy are predicting that this deficit is dangerous, but until now their suggestions haven’t bring any concrete measures for higher increase of the export in relation to import.
 
     
  International bar code for the articles

According to the Macedonian Association for numbering of the articles (EAN MAK), our products can’t be export from the state if they don’t have international bar code. According to the experts, with receiving of these codes, the companies will have many privileges which will implement better working and increasing of the efficiency. With these codes, the articles are ready for export; the control for distributions and the production is becoming better, because every sale is written electronic and the errors in the administration are reduced.
 
     
  Institution for use of innovations

The assignment of the Agency for support of the entrepreneurship, which was established by our Government, is the realization of the Program for supporting of the entrepreneurship and for creating competition in the retail economy in our state. The manager of this Agency, Vanco Popov, has emphasized that the goal of this institution is using of innovations and bringing modern technologies in the retail economy. He is explaining that the Agency will not give services, but it will direct into increasing of number of the employees and it will direct to successful working in the small and middle companies.
 
     
  European stimulation for employment

The European agency for reconstruction (EAR) has divided 500.000 euros to 11 organizations for stimulation in employment. Part of the refused candidates has reacted on the choice of this Agency, with complain that the choice wasn’t transparent and the previously establish rules weren’t respected. The EAR has informed that all candidates who were fulfilling minimum 80 % of the rules written by Brussels were accepted.
 
     
  Serbian grain in Macedonia

The export of the grain from Serbia and Montenegro to Macedonia and to Bosnia and Herzegovina has started and in the next six months in these states 200 000 tons of grain will be sell. The export prices are still varying, but the exporters don’t want to talk about it, because the competition in the neighborhood is strong.
 
     
  Four offers for “Iskra Engineering”

Offers of the public international tender for buying the new factory “Iskra Engineering” from Kumanovo are open and four companies are interested. The companies “SKJ Anduci” from Italy, DS “Construction” from Greece, “Sam engineering” from Skopje and person in private business Vanco Matevski from Skopje have given their offers.
 
     
  New school in Monospitovo

After two-year old promise finally has started the construction of a new school building in the village Monospitovo, Strumica. The Ministry for education has supplied 4 millions denars for reconstruction of the old present school building and for construction of the new building. 30 millions denar are necessary for final end of this project.   PM KOSTOV ATTENDS FORUM FOR SEE STABILITY



Macedonian Prime Minister Hari Kostov attended the Forum "Stability of Southeast Europe in the 21st Century," which took place in Salzburg on July 27-28.

The Forum, held under the auspices of Austrian Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel, included the participation of Austrian Foreign Minister Benita Ferrero-Waldner, Special Coordinator of the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe Erhard Busek, Prime Ministers of Albania, Bulgaria, Serbia/Montenegro and Romania, Fatos Nano, Simeon Saxe-Coburg Gotha, Milo Djukanovic and Adrian Nastase.

Serbian, Croatian and BIH Prime Ministers, Voislav Kostunica, Ivo Sanader and Adnan Terzic cancelled their participation in the Forum.

The Forum was focused on challenges to the SEE stability. The attendants also discussed the current situation in the Balkans, with special regard to Kosovo. The debate was not related to solving of the Kosovo status, but to stabilization of the entire region as a prerequisite for its economic prosperity.

The economic development and fight against organised crime were also among the Forum's topics.



AMENDMENT DEBATE ON LAW ON TERRITORIAL ORGANISATION


Macedonian Parliament Thursday will resume the 72nd session on amendment debate on draft law on territorial organisation of the local self-government as well as part of the package of decentralisation laws.

Only 26 of 160 amendments were discussed, but none was adopted.

The position of the Minister of Local Self-Government Aleksandar Gestakovski is that the municipalities in submitted amendments are not economically strong to be independent.

The draft law on territorial organisation foresees current 123 municipalities to decrease to 80 i.e. 76 by 2008.



TRPCESKI PERFORMED AT ROYAL ALBERT HALL IN LONDON


Macedonian pianist Simon Trpceski late Tuesday performed in the most representative and largest concert halls in Great Britain, the Royal Albert Hall in London within the frameworks of BBC Proms, the world's greatest classical music festival.

Accompanied by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra conducted by Joseph Swensen, Trpceski played the piano concerto No. 2 by Saint-Saëns.

As many times before his playing once again aroused audiences enthusiasm and he was given a standing ovations.

Satisfied with the concert and reception at the London audience Trpceski stated he was given a great honor and privilege to debut at Proms.

"The invitation to perform at the world's greatest classical music festival, where only great musicians perform, was a pleasure and honour for me. This was a great opportunity for me once again to present my music playing," Trpceski said after the concert.

He said that this was a very important event for him. "I am satisfied how the concert ended and that I had the opportunity to play together with an excellent orchestra, like the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and above all due to the performance in this luxurious building, the Royal Albert Hall and before 4.000 spectators in the audience," Trpceski said.

Dvorak's Czech Suite and Schumann's Symphony No. 2 in C major were broadcasted live on television and radio and music of the concert could be listened live online on the internet.

Simon Trpceski will stay several days in the Great Britain where he prepares recording for his second CD for EMI Company. He is scheduled to perform together with the London Philharmonic Orchestra on October.
