THE STRUGGLE OF OMO “ILINDEN” PIRIN CONTINUES

The representatives of OMO “ILINDEN” PIRIN, the organization of the Macedonians from Bulgaria, will set off to Brussels in order to give additional arguments for the right to register as a political party. They will have meetings with the representatives in the European parliament in the upcoming of the planed assembly, on which will be vote for the proposed amendment with which it’s been required from Bulgaria to enable that right. The amendment with which from Bulgaria is been required to register the party of the Macedonians, was submitted by the representative group of the Greens in the European parliament. They called their selves on the decision of the Court for human rights from Strasburg, who judged Bulgaria for breaking of the citizens’ rights on the political organization. The chances for accepting of the amendment are minimal because the other bigger representative groups won’t vote for it. A part of the responsibility for this situation is carried by the Macedonian representatives, who with neither one procedure they didn’t give a support to their European colleagues. While the Bulgarian representatives are intensively writing letters, telephoning and have meetings with their European colleagues in order to assure that it mustn’t come to a registration of the Macedonian party in Bulgaria, the Macedonian national chosen ones didn’t appear anywhere.

MACEDONIA IN THE EU

The position of Macedonia in the RU, instead to be improved, it’s going to downstream line. The impression is that the European commission is losing and enthusiasm in relation to us that is tired from repeating of the same refrain. The commissar for expansion, Oli Rhen, without too much of enthusiasm before few days has shortly stated that the country has spent too much energy on the elections and it’s time to get back to work. The country is the main culprit for that that Macedonia is moving away and will be truly insipidity to judge the EU and her crisis for our own failure.
