  ATTEMPTS FOR A FINAL SOLUTION FOR KOSOVO

At the meeting between the PM Nikola Gruevski and the special representative of the general secretary of the UN for Kosovo, Joakim Riker, was talked about all important problems that are current for Kosovo and for Macedonia, aw well as about the past cooperation with the temporary government of Kosovo and with UNMIK. During the talks was ascertained that the marking of the border between Macedonia and Kosovo, as a technical issue, should be finished during the negotiations for the Kosovo’s status, and no later after the defining of the status. “I believe that a sensitive period is upcoming, but still we will find a final solution for, which won’t cause tensions in the region”, Gruevski noted. According to him, an intensive monitoring at the border is needed in order to stop the criminal and radical structures to cause problems. Riker verified the good relations that are building by Macedonia and Kosovo and said that the UN will try to find a final solution for Kosovo till the end of this year.

A MACEDONIAN ABECEDARY IN GREECE

The European bureau for less used languages (EBPUJ) the Commission in Greece of EBPUJ and the European free alliance – Rainbow, few days ago have published the book BUKVAR-ABECEDARY on Macedonian. The book has two parts. The first part is a exact copy if the ABECEDARY from 1925, a book that was intended fro the Macedonian nation in the Northern part of Greece. The second part of the book is a modern Abecedary on Macedonian, as it is learned today worldwide. In the contents if the book the history of the Abecedary from 1925, the greeting text of the president of EBPUJ, as well as of the president of the Greek Commission and the “Gratitude” of the members of “Rainbow” to the Greek Government, because the book is printed with means from the Greek budget. The book has been printed on three languages, Greek, English and Macedonian. The distribution already started in Greece and is predicted to be promoted on November in Athens, Solun and in the bigger cities I the Northern Greece where Macedonian nation lives.

EUROPEAN DAYS IN MACEDONIA

The European days in the cultural heritage for more than 15 years successfully call attention towards the cultural fortune of different countries in Europe, as a part of the mutual European heritage. In the Republic of Macedonia, the topic to which the activities have focused this year is “The heritage – a bridge between the cultures”. At this year’s “European days” the attention was called towards the motion material heritage, which is placed in the our museums all over Macedonia, to the non-motion archeological and architectural heritage, but also to the nonmaterial cultural heritage that we know in the customs, traditions, handworks, sourced national music and dances.

THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE IN ACTION

In cooperation with the inspectors for culture in the branch of the Ministry of culture, the inspectors from the State market inspectorate and the inspectors from MIR of RM, SVR department for organized crime, coordinated action have been implemented according to the Law for author’s right and allied rights.   CORNERSTONE LAYING CEREMONY OF JOHNSON CONTROLS FACTORY IN BUNARDZIK

Cornerstone for automotive interior electronics factory of the US Johnson Controls company was laid Thursday afternoon in the free economic zone Bunardzik.
Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and Johnson Controls' CEO John Barth laid down the cornerstone.
Factory's production process should start within a year with the opening of 150 jobs, according to Johnson Control announcements.
-Johnson Controls investment is great opportunity for domestic business community to become a partner in the construction, whereas the country is prepared maximally to meet required conditions for realization of the investment, said PM Gruevski at the ceremony.
Barth stressed that the company would like to stay in Macedonia forever although it needed two years to close the decision for factory construction. He also said that the company would construct a world class object, complying with world standards. Above all, the factory will be of special value due to the fact that it is solid corporate part of the country. Barth announced to visit Macedonia again a year after the start of production process.
Johnson Controls representatives, Government's members, MPs, diplomats, local self-government representatives as well as SDSM's leader and former PM Vlado Buckovski attended the ceremony.
