  A PM SEEKING FOR THE GORANS

Bigger rights for the Gorans are required by the Macedonian PM Nikola Gruevski on the talks with his Kosovian colleague Agim Cehu, with whom he talked in Skopje.
“I seeked to be given more possibilities to the Gorans, like the right to learn on Macedonian, building of roads, as well as of other infrastructure objects”, Gruevski stated.

THE FUNDS REMAINED AT THE SHEPHERD DJEMAILI

The judge Jasmina Blazevska decided to not have repeated trial for the case “Bachilo”. The suggestion of the Attorney for repeating of the trial has been refused as unfounded because the legal conditions were not fulfilled. The state paid a damage of more than 700.000 euros to the shepherd Isnifaris Djemaili, from Kamenjane, for killing ships in 2001. The Attorney looked for a repeating of the procedure because, as they claimed, there was evidence that the veterinarians’ certifications for the damage made to the shepherd were false. Now Djemaili seeks 427 million euros of damage from the Government for unsettled honor and reputation and caused traumas and stress. According to him, the initiative of the Government for repeating of the procedure and retrieving of the 700.000 euros that he has already got with a court decision was deep injury of his rights and pre-elective manipulation.

THE GENETICALLY MODIFICATED FOOD WILL BE CONTROLLED IN MANU

The lab researches for presence of genetically modificated food, which is in retail, will be made in the Institute for genetically engineering in MANU, which is led by the academic Gjorgji Efremov. This possibility is confirmed also by the Ministry of agriculture, forestry and water supply. The reaction by the authorized Ministry is upcoming after the speculations in the public that in Macedonia can be found a part of the genetically modificated rice that from China through USA came in the EU markets.

MORE MACEDONIANS WITH CROATIAN CITIZENSHIP

According to the Croatian portals, 14.000 Macedonians got a Croatian citizenship, and every year around 1.000 persons are submitting for it. For the Macedonians, Croatia is the first choice because of the friendly relation, but also because of relatively quick learning of the Croatian language. Also, a big advantage is that the Croatians don’t need visa to entry in the EU countries.

A NORWEGIAN DONATION FOR THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

With 28 million denars that are donation by the Kingdom of Norway, the Macedonian Government will renew the elementary schools in Macedonia. The vice president of the Government, Gabriela Konevska – Trajkovska, asked from the Ministry of education alis of schools that have a priority to be renewed immediately.

“MANAKI BROS.” FILM FESTIVAL

From 26th of Spetember till 1st of October will be held the 27th edition of the International festival of film camera “Manaki Bros.” the winner of the festival’s special award “Golden camera 300” for distinct achievements in the world cinematography is the famous British actor Charles Dens.   GRUEVSKI MEETS WITH MACEDONIAN BUSINESSMEN

Forging partnership relations and supporting the government's measures aimed at improving the business climate, will be the topics of discussion at today's working breakfast with PM Gruevski.
The meeting comes a day after Association of Commerce Chamber's (ACC) request for cutting taxation fees by 13 percent for the IT sector, as it is proposed for the farming sector.
"The working breakfast is a perfect opportunity to launch a dialogue for forging partnership cooperation with the new government", ACC's president Venko Gligorov said today.
He pointed out Association's intentions to encourage and uphold the realization of government's measures aimed at improving the business climate.
Except for PM Gruevski, the Vice-Prime Minister in charge of economy Zoran Stavrevski, and Ministers of Finance - Trajko Slavevski, of Transportation and Communication - Mile Janakievski, and of Economy - Vera Rafajlovska will also attend the working breakfast, set up by ACC in Skopje's Continental Hotel.
Representatives of the Independent Syndicates Federation and of diplomatic corps in Macedonia, are also expected to take part at the meeting.

PRESIDENT CRVENKOVSKI, FM MILOSOSKI MET MATTHEW NIEMITZ

We have joint meeting with President Branko Crvenkovski and the mediator Matthew Niemitz which was a good chance to once again reaffirm the positions and stressed the co-ordinated positions in regard to the name issue. The meeting with Niemitz was more protocolar aimed at mediator to be introduced with the positions of the new government, Macedonian FM Antonio Milososki said after the meeting with the Matthew Niemitz, the UN envoy mediating negotiations on the name dispute.
As MIA's special correspondent reported from New York, FM Milososki added that talks will not be intensified until the local elections in Greece end.
- There will be no larger dynamic in regard to the talks until the elections in Greece end and afterwards we will stay in contact through our mutual negotiators - of Greece and Macedonia who have regular contact with Niemitz and we will decide when and how we are going to give larger intensity regarding this issue, Milososki said.
