Во Луксембург денеска започнува дводневното заседание на Советот за правда и внатрешни работи на Унијата, на кое една од точките е и подготовката за Министерски форум за правда и внатрешни работи ЕУ-Западен Балкан, што ќе се одржи во Скопје на 26 и 27 октомври.
На денешниот прв ден од заседанието, министрите за внатрешни работи на земјите членки Унијата ќе расправаат и за Регулативата за спречување и борба против сексуалната злоупотреба на деца, за оштетувањето на гасниот конектор во Балтичкото Море, за резултатите од Меѓународна донаторска конференција за деминирање во Украина што се одржа во Загреб на 11 и 12 октомври, за Пактот за азил и миграција, за измените и дополнувањата на Одлуката за Механизмот за цивилна заштита на ЕУ, како и за законскиот предлог за спречување на онлајн радикализација на малолетници.
За време на работниот ручек, како што јави дописникот на МИА од Брисел, министрите ќе разговараат за последиците од случувањата на Блискиот Исток врз внатрешната безбедност на ЕУ.
Во рамки на заседанието на Советот ќе се одржи и седница на Мешовитиот Шенген комитет, на која ќе се разговара за состојбите во Шенген зоната, за борба против илегалната трговијата со дрога и организираниот и прекуграничниот криминал, пред се против криумчарењето мигранти, како и за напредокот на Бугарија и Романија во исполнување на критериумите за членство во Шенген зоната.
Во текот на утрешното заседание на Советот, министрите за правда на членките на ЕУ ќе дебатираат за Директивата за усогласување на одредени аспекти на правото за инсолвентност, за борба против неказнивоста за злосторства извршени за време на руската агресија врз Украина, за соработката со земјите од Латинска Америка во борба против организираниот криминал, за напорите за подобрување на ефикасноста и квалитетот на правосудниот систем, за пристапувањето на ЕУ кон Истанбулската конвенција, за преговорите со САД за договор за електронски докази, како и за Патоказот на ЕУ за борба против трговијата со дрога и организираниот криминал.
За време на работниот ручек, министрите за правда ќе разговараат за напорите за подобрување на ефикасноста и квалитетот на правосудниот систем
Со заседанијата на Советот ќе претседаваат шпанските министри за внатрешни работи и за правда, Фернандо Гранде-Марласка Гомез и Марија Пилар Лоп Куенка.
