Денеска во Србија е Ден на жалост поради смртта на тројцата Срби од северот на Косово кои загинаа во конфликт со косовската полиција во селото Бањска, а уште од синоќа белграѓани пред црквата Свети Сава во Врачар запалија свеќи за загинатите Срби кои загинаа во конфликтот во Бањска, јави дописникот на МИА од Белград.
Одлуката за прогласување на Ден на жалост на територијата на цела Република ја донесе Владата на Србија, а претходно беше прогласена тридневна жалост во српските области на Косово.
-Владата на Србија побара од сите медиуми и организатори на јавни настани да ја приспособат својата програма на Денот на жалост во среда, 27 септември и на тој начин да им оддадат почит на жртвите на Косово и Метохија, се вели во соопштението на Владата на Србија.
Во Србија Ден на жалост се прогласува, според законот, по особено тешка сообраќајна несреќа што резултира со смрт, повреда или сериозно оштетување на здравјето на поголем број луѓе, или во случај на смрт на високо рангиран државен функционер.
Како што јави во вторникот Радио телевизија на Србија (РТС) во неделата во селото Бањска во судир со припадниците на косовската полиција убиени се Стефан Недељковиќ, Игор Миленковиќ и Бојан Мијаиловиќ од Косово.
Косовската полиција претходно соопшти дека во престрелката е убиен еден нивни припадник, а двајца се ранети.
