Со унилатералната изјава во однос на македонскиот јазик, Бугарија всушност измисли „вештачка формула“ со која се прави обид „да не се каже дека го признава македонскиот јазик“ и со тоа се создаде неверојатна бариера во односите меѓу двете земји, смета професорот на софискиот Нов бугарски универзитет, Михаил Иванов во интервју за БНР.
Според Иванов, кој е и коосновач на Клубот за бугарско-македонско пријателство и некогашен советник за етнички прашања на поранешниот бугарски претседателот Жељу Желев, и барањето на Бугарија за вклучување на Бугарите во македонскиот Устав претставува „непромислено инсистирање“ на бугарските националисти, бидејќи на тој начин се воспоставува јасна уставна етничка разлика меѓу Македонците и Бугарите.
– Тоа значи вклучување (на Бугарите) во Преамбулата заедно со македонскиот народ како посебна етничка заедница. Во Преамбулата се зборува за Албанците, Србите, Турците, Бошњаците, како и за другите етнички заедници. Не случајно на ова се спротивставува водечката организација на Бугарите од Скопје и инсистира тоа да не се случи, вели Иванов.
Тој нагласува дека му е чудно што бугарските националисти на цел глас трубат дека Бугарите и Македонците се еден ист народ, а во исто време сакаат да воспостават јасна уставна и етничка разлика меѓу Македонците и Бугарите.
– Проблемот со отпочнувањето на претпристапните преговори со Македонија како веќе да остана во втор план. Од друга страна, Бугарија во моментов нема многу маневарски простор, бидејќи работите сега се во Европската комисија, која ќе ги води преговори со Република Македонија, додава Иванов.
Според него, новата службена Влада на Бугарија не може и нема да бара ревизија на одлуката за деблокирање на европската перспектива за Скопје, бидејќи во моментов бугарската страна нема многу можности за да преземе некакви чекори.
