The festival opens on Friday with a play by Russia's theater "Arlekin". Its program also includes plays from Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Lithuania and Serbia.
In addition to this, two amateur plays from Macedonia will be performed at the festival.
- Amateur theaters are the hotbed for future directors and actors. Our aim is "Faces Without Masks" to reach the roots and beginnings of the Young Open Theatre via the stigma to be young, open and accessible to everyone, festival's executive director Ljubisa Nikodinovski-Bis told the press conference on Wednesday.
"Faces Without Masks" has competitive feature and will award the best theater play. A jury, comprised of Snezana Konevska, Todor Kuzmanov and Robert Veljanovski, will decide upon allocation of the awards.
Moreover, the programme includes workshops for pantomime, juggling and street theater, painting and hand-made jewelry.
