  THE NATO INVITATION DEPENDS ON MACEDONIA

Jaap de Hop Shefer to the Macedonian minister of foreign affairs, Antonio Miloshovski, in Brussels sent out that from now till the next NATO summit in 2008 from Macedonia is expected to implement the laws and reforms’ results. Simultaneously, he pointed out to Miloshovski that he is always welcomed in NATO to seek for an advice or present results. Macedonia must strengthen the legal state and to reform, and the accomplishments in the defense, that are doubtless, will not be enough to receive the invitation for membership on the next summit. The head of the Alliance has advices Miloshovski for the Summit in Riga, repeating that he had all the attention on this meeting. Shefer has promised that on the summit in 2008 Macedonia will participate as well, and would she receive a membership will depend on her.

MACEDONIA HAS TO IMPORT ELECTRICITY

In 2007 Macedonia will have to pay 240 million of euros for import of 2.8 billion Kwh of electricity, which will be a more from double from this year. The energetic balance of the state for the next year is finished and was reviewed by the Macedonian energetic association. The biggest customers are still “Silmak”, “Feni” and “Leguri-Skopje”, who for the next years seek double amount of electricity. That will increase the total consumption in the state for 13.13%.

THE ALBANIANS WILL TAKE SOIL FROM THE MACEDONIANS

The Macedonians from the region of Mala Prespa in Albania fear that the Albanian authorities will take around 70 hectares soil in order to divide it to the Albanians in the process of denationalization. Those hectares were surplus that was discovered by the Central state commission for assessment of the soil and that is predicted to be used as damage for the citizens to whom the former properties can’t be returned. A POSSIBILITY OF A RENEWAL OF THE MISIRKOV’S AND PETROV’S TOMBS

THE SHIELDS, GIFT BY THE GOD

According to the archeologist Dragi Mitrevski, a professor and manager of the Cathedra for archeology on the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje, the Macedonian shielda from the II century BC, found in the area of the village of Bonce near Prilep, were gifts by the Gods. A COMMEMORATION OF “ST. KLIMENT OHRIDSKI” IN AUSTRALIA

The church “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Canberra, helped by the Embassy of Macedonia has marked its patron holiday with a Festival of the Macedonian culture and food. National clothes, icons, embroideries, souvenirs and elements from the Macedonian table as well as terracotta icons from Macedonia, photographs and motives from Macedonia and pictures of artists that live in Canberra have been presented at the festival. In the cultural program, Macedonian cultural-artistic associations from the Australian cities Qeenbian, Rockdail, Wollongong and from Sydney have been presented, and a revue of Macedonian national clothes has been held too. Traditional Macedonian instruments, bagpipes and the drums, as well as the specialties from the reach Macedonian kitchen have been also presented.

15TH PROM NIGHT IN VICTORIA

On the 3rd of December 2006, the 15th in a row prom nights of the students from the 12th grade, who have successfully passed the exam of Macedonian language in the regular teaching in Victoria, Victorian school of languages in New South Wales, has been held. This year the Macedonian language exam was passed by 120 students, a number that is really delighted if we take the fact that almost 1/3 from the students are third generation of Macedonians in Australia.   WEAPONS PURCHASED FROM MACEDONIA ARE PROPERLY STORED - NATIONAL BULGARIAN SECURITY SERVICE

Weapons from Macedonia are stored in compliance with the requierements of Bulgarian laws and the importing company, while the Macedonian selling firm gave consent to the Bulgarian buyer to produce or sell the concerned goods to third parties, reads the report of national Bulgarian security service Bezbednost, MIA reports.
The three prior deliveries of weapons from the Macedonian Defense Ministry to Bulgaria were conducted in compliance with the import decision of June 2005 by the inter-sectorial committee on export control and non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, as well as the decision of the Macedonian police for transport of the goods to the warehouses of the Bulgarian purchasing company.
Moreover, the Macedonian film was obliged to escort the load until it leaves the country's territory, reads the report.
The police seized past Thursday weapons during a routine control of three trucks with Bulgarian register plates. The firearms included 300 pieces of machine guns caliber 7,62mm with 300 stands, and 33 mortars caliber 120mm. The truck drivers have been detained.
