  “GISEKE” WILL MAKE THE MACEDONIAN PASSPORTS

The German firm “Giseke” will make the new Macedonian passports. The second-degree commission of the government for appeals refused the two remained appeal by the Italian “Instituto poligrafico” and the Austrian “Simens”.
“MIA found out from the laboratory analysis that the offers of the all firms had the top quality for making the passports. Other criterions are crucial”, Petar Shilegov, the president of the second-degree commission stated.
In spite of the eventual appeals, MIA can sign up an agreement with “Giseks”. Otherwise, in the time of the procedure many arguments against the company’s choice were brought out to the public, whereupon the legality of the procedure, the quality of the offer and the conditions of the supply were disputed.
 
     
  SONK AND THE GOVERNMENT COME TO AN AGREEMENT

The government and the union of education, science and culture made an agreement for increasing the salary in these activities by 12%. The ministry of finance with the province ministries should agree each other how the increasing of the salary will affect the lowest salary.
“The talks should continue on technical level in the Ministry of education, and then in the ministry of culture, labor and dole. Additional technical checks on the number and the structure of the employees should be made, after which the amount of the lowest salary in the education, culture and dole will be set, which will be around 4.000 denars”, the president of SONK, Dojcin Cvetanovski, said.
According to him, after setting the lowest salary, SONK together with the Government will sign an agreement for the reached negotiations.
 
     
  THE RELATIONS BETWEEN COSMOFON AND MOBIMAK ARE RECONCILED?!

Four companies from Skopje through COSMOFON SIM-cards were making international incoming traffic in the networks of Macedonian telecommunications and Mobimak, the Agency of electronic communications confirmed. The Agency tried to mediate for Cosmofon and Mobimak to pass the misunderstandings which converted in serious mutual accusing that the two operators work illegal. On the accusing by Mobimak that Cosmofon realize international traffic contrary from the Law of electronic communications, the Agency reported that that was done by the companies “Akton”, “Balkantel”, “Sistemring” and “Unifon MK”, all from Skopje.
 
     
  GLIGOR STEFANOV WITH EXPOSITION IN CANADA

The artist Gligor Stefanov is participating on “Artsin”, annual exposition organized by the Centre of modern art, “Windsor artist ran” in Canada. The exposition was opened last Friday and will stay open till 10th of December 2005 where experimental works by visual arts: sculptures, spacious installations and movies are present. Gligor Stefanov, who lives and works in Windsor, Canada, has paintings, pictures, installations, sculptures of organic materials in his opus.   CRVENKOVSKI, DICARLO MEET: COOPERATION WITH US HIGHEST MACEDONIA'S PRIORITY

The relations with the US represent a highest priority for Macedonia, said Thursday Macedonian President Branko Crvenkovski during the meeting with the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Rosemary A. DiCarlo.
As President Cabinet's press release reads, Crvenkovski expressed a belief that Macedonia's strong and permanent commitment for building partnership relations with the US in the forthcoming period would be confirmed, expressing expectation for intensifying of cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest.
DiCarlo expressed gratitude to Macedonia for its engagement and contribution in establishing a democracy and security in the world, as well as in fight against global terrorism, demonstrated in its peacekeeping missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.
She congratulated for the European Commission's positive avis, expressing hope that Macedonia will acquire the candidate status for the EU membership in December.
Crvenkovski and DiCarlo also exchange opinions on regional issues. They both agreed that the solutions on latest issues in the region should not cause any changes of borders, but to produce permanent peace, security and prosperity.
