RISTO PENOV WITHDRAWS CANDIDACY FOR
SKOPJE MAYOR
Risto Penov announced Wednesday that he withdrew his candidacy for Skopje
Mayor.
"I decided to withdraw my candidacy. I will close the election headquarters
and prepare the Cabinet for Trifun Kostovski", Penov stated at the press

my prior work, because I had the chance to feel the satisfaction of Skopje
citizens with the realization of over 2,000 projects. However, they ask for
more, and that is why I respect their decision", Skopje mayor candidate of
coalition "Together for Macedonia", Penov said.
Trifun Kostovski won 110,077 or 48,90 percent of votes in the first round,
followed by Penov with 63,022 or 28 percent.
