  Procredit Bank also in Struga

Procredit Bank, one of the largest banks in Southeastern Europe has open new branch office in Struga. This branch office has render more than 50 credits in amount from more than 200.000 euro to businesses in Struga and more than 100 physical persons and firms has opened new accounts and saving accounts, from February until now.
“ We are really happy because there is a great interest for our services and the number of our new clients every day is increasing. For really short time, we have notice that the branch office caused big influence in Struga “- has pointed out Mr. Jan Philip Heymann, manager of the branch office.
 
     
  The debate for the IT strategy

The Governmental Commission for informatics’ technology (KIT) has organized the public debate on subject “National strategy for development of the informatics’ society” on March 7.
This debate was part of the project “Formulation of the national strategy for informatics’ society”, supported by the Program for development of UN (UNDP) and Foundation Institute Open Society – Macedonia (FIOOM). The goal of this project is to create national politic, strategy and action plan for development of the informatics’ society in Macedonia.
 
     
  Preparations for the new tourist season

The representatives of the associations of the tourist agencies ATAM from Macedonia and JUTA from Serbia and Monte Negro were having a meeting in Ohrid. The goal of this meeting was developing of the tourism and increasing of the mutual visitation of the tourists. Also on this meeting were present more than 30 tourist agencies from Serbia and Monte Negro, 10 journalists from the most famous mediums from Belgrade, representatives from the competent ministries and hotels’ association HOTAM from Macedonia. Our country has already announced the prices for the tourist arrangements for this season, but they all agree that the offer is more expensive than the prices in Bulgaria and Turkey. They all agreed to adapt the prices in order to be more suitable for the costumers.
 
     
  Humanitarian action for the Pediatric Clinic

Foundation Mobimak for Macedonia has organized humanitarian action for the renovation of the one floor of the Pediatric Clinic – Clinic Center – Skopje. On the occasion of this action the Foundation has open the number for donations

“Between two worlds” from Armando Almedar

“Koo Stark” is opening the exhibit “Between two worlds” from Armando Almedar Ara in the exhibit hall salon- gallery “Great Expectations Gallery”.
The exhibit will be open on March 18 till April 1 2005. The guest of honor will be His Excellency Mister George Spasov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia in London.

  SKOPJE HOSTS SEE COOPERATION SUMMIT


On March 10-11, Skopje will host a Summit for boosting the cooperation among Southeast European countries under an auspice of Macedonian President Branko Crvenkovski and Euro-Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn.
The Institute for European Affairs, Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe and Foreign Economy Relations Board of Turkey organizer the summit.
"Regional cooperation, building of and investing in good-neighborly relations among all participants in this Summit are foundations for sustainable peace and stability of the SEE countries and prerequisites for their economic prosperity," Crvenkovski's Economic Adviser Kire Naumov said Wednesday at a press conference.
The Summit would contribute to intensifying the economic cooperation and trade exchange in the region, he said.
About 150 Heads of State and Government, senior officials and many European businessmen will share opinions on applying appropriate measures for supporting the region's peace and stability, democracy and economic prosperity.
The Summit is expected to set tracks for boosting investments by creating necessary conditions for market economy, protecting direct foreign investments and preventing corruption. It is also expected to boost the cooperation among the SEE countries making them more competitive on the world markets.
Institute of European Affairs Chairman Jurgen Gramke will open the Summit, which will gather Presidents of Bulgaria, Serbia and Croatia - Georgi Prvanov, Boris Tadic and Stipe Mesic - Albanian and Montenegrin PMs - Fatos Nano and Milo Djukanovic, former president of the European Commission Jacques Santer, EC Director General for Enlargement - Fabrizio Barbaso, UNMIK chief Soren Jessen-Petersen, former Swedish PM Carl Buldt, former Italian PM Guliano Amato, etc.
